Those who have a Mother,
cherish her with care,
Love her while you may,
For you never know the heartache,
Till you see her vacant chair.
Because we wish with all our hearts,
Our Mom was here today.

This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved mom, wife and grandmother...she left
behind, her devoted husband Nino and her children Sabina, Mario, Connie and Lori but most
importantly her 11 beautiful grandchildren.
Amanda, E.J., Brianna, Nino J. Nino L. Heather, Tabitha, Kevin, Mario, Donte and Lindsey

Marianna(Cultrera)La Rosa who was born in Monterosso Almo, Ragusa a small town in Sicily, Italy on
January 12, 1944 and passed away in Titusville Florida on July 14, 2005 at the age of 61. Cultrera
is mom's maiden name..when she was a teenager my grandparents moved to Floridia and that's where mom
met dad she was 14 then, she eloped and married dad, she then had the first daughter which she only
survived 15 days she is now with her in Heaven holding her in her arms...After the first daughter
she had 4 healthy kids 3 girls and 1 boy. Mom and dad came to America in 1975 with us four kids she
raised us well, she surely did a very good job raising us. She loved her grandkids more then
anything in the world and we know she still does love them even if she is in Heaven. She lived in
Hartford Connecticut half her life except for the last 7 months before she died she had moved to
Florida and that's where she passed away. Mom was a breast cancer survivor, she had breast cancer at
28 had a mastectomy and for ten years she was in danger she fought it and was a survivor for 33
years until she left us to go to Heaven at 61. We will miss her and we will remember her forever in
our hearts.
We all love you Mom and we know that you are at a better place now..

Each day I think about you
And realize you have gone,
I can't explain the emptiness
That life has now become.
They say that time's a healer,
But I'm not too sure,
For every time I think of you
I miss you more and more.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

Always ready to do her best,
With a heart so true and tender,
She devoted her life to those she loved,
And those she loved remember.

X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

M is for the Many things she gave me
O is Only that she was growing old
T is for the Tears she often shed for me
H is for her Heart as pure as gold
E is for her Eyes that shone so brightly
R is for the many Riches she gave to me
Put them altogether they spell MOTHER,
The dearest one in all the world to me.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

To hear your voice, to see you smile,
To sit and talk to you a while,
To be together in the same old way,
Would be my dearest wish today.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X
Once upon a memory
Someone wiped away a tear
Held me close and loved me,
Thank you, Mother dear.

X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

A beautiful memory dearer than gold.
Of a mother,
Whose worth can never be told,
There's a place in my heart no one can fill,
I miss you, Mom, and always will.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

In the quiet of the evening
I sit and think of you,
I open up my memory book,
Of the things we used to do,
And as I turn the pages,
My eyes are filled with tears,
For, although I have my memories,
I can't hold back the years.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

A face is from our household gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A chair is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.

X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

God has taken you away from us,
And taken you to rest,
It's not for us to understand,
He only takes the best.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

The family chain is broken now
And nothing seems the same,
But as God takes us one by one,
That chain will link again.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

To think we did not say goodbye
Will always bring regret,
But hearts that always loved
Never will forget.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

I lived in hope. I prayed in vain
That God would make you well again.
But God decided we must part,
I watched you die with a broken heart.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

A golden heart stopped beating
Two smiling eyes at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

Jesus take care of our Mom
And love her as we do
Because she was everything
Loving, kind and true.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

Your photo stands in pride of place,
A lovely smile lights up your face,
You always seem to be so near,
How I wish Mom
You were still here.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

A special smile, a special face
In our hearts, a special place,
Memories are a gift to treasure,
Ours of you Mom will last forever.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

A Mother's love is ageless,
A crown she has won,
Today I mourn and honor her,
For all that she has done.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

Two extra stars are in the skies,
I know they are my mother's eyes,
Looking down upon her fold,
Remembering memories wrapped in gold.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

We love and miss you Mom,
We wish you were here today,
Just to say these words to you,
We love you in every way.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

We never ask for miracles,
But today just one would do,
To see our front door open,
And our dearest Mom walk through.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

No one knew the pain she bore,
Beneath the smile she always wore,
A loving memory dearer than gold,
of a Mother whose worth can never be told.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

Kind was your nature,
True were your ways
We will treasure your memory Mom
For the rest of our days.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

The sweet smell of your perfume,
Has slowly faded away
But all your helpful teachings Mom,
Are always here to stay.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

There's a corner in our hearts, Mom
You visit every day,
It gives us this warm feeling,
That you're never far away.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

If roses grow in Heaven, Lord,
Then pick a bunch for us
And place them in our Mom's arms
And tell her they're from us.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

I know there was a reason,
That you had to leave.
To keep us in your watchful eyes,
So now in God I really do believe.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

I wish that I could see you Mom,
For just a little while,
I wish that I could hug you and
see your lovely smile,
But wishing gets me nowhere,
And longing is in vain.
So I will hold you in my heart.
Until we meet again.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

You've earned your place in heaven Mom,
After all that you've been through
I wish I could have helped you
But there was nothing I could do
Peacefully sleeping now out of pain.
I would not wake you up to suffer again.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

Please, take my memories from me.
Just for awhile, so I can breathe,
Someday they may bring comfort,
But right now they make me grieve.
My heart keeps pumping feelings,
From deep recesses of my soul,
And reviving my old memories,
In an attempt to make me whole.
While my soul keeps purging images,
I see your smile; I sense your touch,
Then I'm reminded that I love you,
And I still miss youOh! So much.
I remember how you held me as a child,
When I was scared,
Your lips gently touched my forehead.
Showing me how much you cared.
I'm reminded how I need you,
Even now that I am grown,
How I wish that I could visit you,
Or call you on the phone.
But my life has changed forever,
And I know I must move on,
So, please, take my memories for awhile,
Until I accept that you are gone.
X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X*X

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered
"come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our
hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

My Mother A Rose
© Sue Horley

A rose so rare,
one of it's kind,
love and beauty a mother,
yes!
mine.
A rose without thorns,
not a petal was torn,
a perfect rose stood straight and tall,
my mother was the most precious of all.
A rose that survived the worst kind of weather and yet the most delicate ever,
a rose with a fragrance,
there could be know other,
you see this rose is my Mother.
A rose is picked and put to dry,
the beauty is still there,
it never dies.

Dear Mother, rest, your work is o'er
Your loving hands shall toil no more,
No more your gentle eyes shall weep,
Rest, dear Mother, gently sleep.

We Love you and we will miss you..xxx

Happy Birthday Mom

Happy Birthday, Mamma!
I wonder what it's like
your birthday in heaven--
It must be a sight!
With angels to sing to you:
"Happy Birthday, Marianna"
and family and friends around you,
How happy you're sure to be.
Happy Birthday, dear Mamma
from down here below.
We all miss you badly,
and we still love you so

Happy Birthday In Heaven Mom

"Happy Birthday Mother"
It's sure to be the best one yet,
Though you left me here behind.
Did you think that I'd forget?

Your cake this year, will surely be,
A beauty to behold.
With the icing made of Silver,
And the candles made of Gold.

Yes your birthday in Heaven,
Will be such a grand affair.
And I know you'll look so lovely,
With a halo in your hair.

The Angels will come from everywhere,
To sing your birthday song.
And I know they'll be so happy,
That you've joined, God's Happy Throng.

No I can't send a card this year,
Or give a gift so fine.
So I'll just send a special prayer,
To that wonderful mother of mine.
